How ePandit calculates
ePandit calculates Vedic chart facts from astronomical tables (Swiss Ephemeris) using the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanāṁśa — the sidereal standard most Indian panchangs use — then adds guidance that must show its chart basis. We do not invent planetary positions, and we do not claim a measured accuracy rate we do not have.
The engine
Planet and lagna positions come from Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanāṁśa. That choice is fixed in our chart engine before any reading.
If the calculation library or data files are unavailable, we show an error or leave the value out. We never fill in a plausible-looking fake number.

Why every answer should show its basis
A reading without its chart reason collapses into superstition. When we publish a computed fact, we show the method, place, and date.
