How it works: compute, basis, guidance
Every astrological statement is matched against the classical texts.
1 · Compute
Planet positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris, built on standard astronomical data. Signs are sidereal (Lahiri ayanamsa), houses use the whole-sign system, and Rahu–Ketu use the mean node.
Today's Lahiri ayanamsa: 24°13′
- Birth chart and 16 vargas
- Vimshottari and Yogini dasha
- Ashtakavarga
- Shadbala (B. V. Raman, Graha and Bhava Balas)
- Panchang (dates decided by sunrise at Ujjain; times for your city)
2 · Basis
Each sentence carries its reason: the planet, house, dasha, and the text or tradition the rule comes from. The classical sources are recorded in our knowledge base: Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Phaladeepika, Muhurta Chintamani, Dharmasindhu, Nirnayasindhu and others.
3 · Guidance
Readings describe themes and windows: where the chart supports you and where it asks for patience. Remedies come ₹0-first, with their sources, and the choice is yours.
Where AI comes in
The free kundli and its PDF are made entirely from computation and our own reviewed texts. The AI astrologer writes answers to your questions on top of your chart's facts, and shows the basis of each answer.
Panchang and dates
Fast and festival days are fixed by Dharmasindhu's rules at sunrise in Ujjain; where Smarta and Vaishnava traditions differ, both days are shown.
