ePandit is run by RAHITECH VEDICPRINCIPLES PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U96906KA2024PTC194430, Bengaluru, Karnataka).

What we collect: (1) birth details (name optional, date, time, place) when you make a chart; (2) your WhatsApp number or email when you message us or log in; (3) payment confirmations (order number, amount, status); (4) the questions you ask the AI astrologer and its answers; (5) technical data for running the site: cookies, IP address, device and browser details.

How AI is used, plainly: your chart is computed on our own engine. When you ask the AI astrologer a question, your question and the chart facts needed to answer it are sent to a third-party AI model provider to write the reply. Your birth details are used only to make your chart and answer you.

Payments: we never see or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank details; our payment partner (Razorpay) handles them directly. We receive only the payment confirmation.

Cookies and IP addresses: used to run the site, remember your language and choices, keep it secure (for example against spam and misuse), and count statistics. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta) follow your consent.

On your device: with "remember" on, saved people stay only in your browser. "Remove all" deletes them instantly.

Why: to make charts and reports, send them on WhatsApp, complete payments, give support and improve the service.

Shared with: only the partners who run the service (hosting, Razorpay, the WhatsApp Business provider, the AI model provider, analytics), only as much as each task needs. We never sell your personal data. It may be given to a government authority only where the law requires.

How long: birth details, saved profiles and reports, while your account is in use; deleted within 30 days of a deletion request. Chats are kept for 12 months, then deleted. Payment and invoice records are kept for 8 years, because company law requires books of account to be kept that long.

You are the data principal: under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, your data is yours. You can see, correct and delete it, withdraw your consent at any time, and complain to the grievance officer, via the [Delete my data] page or by writing "DELETE" on WhatsApp.

Children's details: a child's birth details (Shishu Patrika, family charts) are given by a parent or guardian.
