What is navamsa (D9)?
Navamsa (D9) is the ninth harmonic / ninefold division of each sign. ePandit computes the ascendant’s navamsa rashi by mapping sidereal longitude × 9 (mod 360) into a rashi. Other vargas (D2, D3, D7, D10, D24, D30) are handled in our varga module.
