ePandit collects personal information and birth details to compute charts and deliver the service. We do not sell your personal data. Birth details are sensitive personal context; you remain the data principal.
Information collected
When you register or use personalized features, you may provide name, gender, birth date/time/place, email, password, place of residence, postcode, and similar details. Birth details are required to create charts and deliver personalized services. Non-personally identifiable technical data (such as IP address or pages viewed) may be collected for administration and security.
Information from feedback forms or surveys is voluntary and used to improve products and services.
Use of information
We use collected data to deliver personalized reports, for internal marketing and trend analysis, to understand usage patterns, and for website administration. As a matter of policy, we do not disclose personally identifiable information to third parties unless you give prior express consent. We may be compelled to disclose information under a court order or applicable government norms. Where we ask for information and notify that it will be shared with third parties, and you opt in, that opt-in governs.
Birth data and AI providers
Chart facts are computed on our own engine. To generate guidance, your question and the chart context needed for the answer may be sent to a third-party large language model (LLM) provider. We limit use of birth details to computing your chart and producing the reply. We do not sell personal data.
Use of e-mail address
Email addresses given for reports and services are not disclosed to third parties. Horoscopes or special offers you choose to receive are sent by ePandit.
Use of cookies
When you browse the site, we may store cookies to customize visits and deliver relevant content. You may set your browser to notify you when a cookie is sent. Some sections may not work optimally if cookies are refused.
Use of IP addresses
IP addresses are used for efficient administration, to identify server problems, and for general trends and statistics.
Security
ePandit does not collect payment card information. Card processing is handled solely by our payment gateway partner. We maintain reasonable industry-standard technical and procedural methods to protect personal information from unauthorized access. No website can eliminate all risk.
Retention
We keep account and service data for as long as your account needs it, or as required by law. When data is no longer needed for the service and law allows, we aim to delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, and — where applicable — deletion or raise a complaint under applicable law (including India’s DPDP posture for personal data). Birth data underpins chart computation; describe your request clearly when you write.
